Motorcyclist taken to hospital with '˜serious' injuries after collision

Surrey Police is appealing for information after a motorcylist was left with '˜serious' injuries after a collision in Horley.

Officers were called to the collision, involving a blue Yamaha motorcycle and a Jeep Renegade, in Bonehurst Road, Salfords, at around 4.40pm yesterday (June 7).

A police spokesman said: “Surrey Police is appealing for information after a man was left with serious leg and arm injuries following a collision in Horley.

“The motorcyclist was taken to St George’s Hospital with serious injuries.

“The road was closed in both directions while emergency services dealt with the incident.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision, or with any other information, is asked to contact PC Paul Clifton-Sinclair at Surrey Police as soon as possible on 101, quoting incident reference P17139579.”
