Motorcyclist who died in crash named

A teenage motorcyclist who died after being involved in an accident on the A27 has been identified by police.

Jack Richards of Lamorna Gardens, Westergate, died after the crash on the eastbound carriageway of the A27 between Slindon and Arundel on May 30.

The accident which took place around 1.55pm involved a silver motorcycle and a red Volvo estate car.

Mr Richards, 18, was taken by air ambulance to King George Hospital in London with serious injuries but died shortly after.

Witnesses to the accident are being urged to call 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Walworth.
