Motorist hurt in tractor crash

A MOTORIST was left with broken wrists and ribs after his car collided with a tractor in Bodiam.

The man was driving his Daewoo along the B2244 Junction Road when the crash happened at 2.45pm on Tuesday December 13.

The car driver, a 65-year-old Hastings man, had to be cut free from his vehicle by firefighters before he was taken by ambulance to the Conquest Hospital.

The tractor driver, from Bodiam, was uninjured.

The road was closed for about an hour after the accident.

Police are appealing for witnesses to call them on 101.
