Motoristswarned to adhere to Link Roadspeed limit

Following the partial opening of a section of the Bexhill to Hastings Link Road Sergeant Mark Evans of Bexhill Neighbourhood Policing Team has warned motorists to adhere to speed limits.

Sgt Evans said: “The Sidley bridge is now being demolished and part of the link road has been opened and relevant diversions put in place. While for many these changes can be frustrating, due care does need to be taken and relevant speed limits should be followed. The new piece of road is 30mph area, so however tempting it maybe to speed this limit should be adhered to.”

In his weekly update Sgt Evans also said officers have been involved with extended ‘nights of action’ specifically focusing on #OPZERO, for oil thefts, garage, vehicle and shed breaks, and looking into poaching in the rural areas.
