Church Road: limited access Oct 3 -28. Hoath Hill: limited access Oct 24 - Nov 18. Eatenden Lane: limited access Nov 14 - March 10.

Wherever possible, the contractors will protect residents’ access, make deliveries possible, help with wheelie bins, etc, even when a road is closed to through traffic.

HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY: We couldn’t get to the plant sale and coffee morning last Sunday but the weather was kind and those who went enjoyed a very pleasant morning sitting out in Rachel’s garden. And they managed to talk about other things than certain local planning matters. The next diary dates are the annual outing to Wisley on Sunday July 3rd, open to members and non-members (contact Celia on 01580 880458) and the Annual Flower Show on Saturday July 30th Village Hall.

VILLAGE HALL COMMITTEE: The AGM will be held next Tuesday, June 28th, at 7.30 in the Village Hall. The meeting is open to everyone in the village and all are welcome to come along and share ideas, join the committee or just listen in to what’s going on.

MOUNTFIELD CLUB: Steve Smith writes: The Club is very proud to announce that it has raised more than £440 so far this year for charities and good causes. St Michael’s Hospice, RNLI lifeboats, Cancer Research and the Air Ambulance have all benefitted. We would like to thank all those who have supported and attended the fund-raising events. Future events include a summer BBQ, a Charity Bullseye night and All Star Friendly Fortunes..
