Firstly, Caroline Hollamby has sent the following in about the Mountfield Bonfire and Children’s Christmas Party;A huge thank you to one and all for their help and dedication to making Friday go with such a bang!! - people who donated goods or services, and their time to build the bonfire, set up on the day, and run/marshall/assist on the evening - and also to all those who supported us by attending on the night (and to the one who organised a window of good weather!!) - too many to name all, but well supported by local community members and businesses.

Turnout and takings on the night were ok, but didn’t cover the costs, and would not be able to fund the children’s party at Christmas - which WILL go ahead anyway - so we will be looking to hold some fund-raising events early next year - anyone who wants to contribute (ideas, suggestions, or organise an event) - please speak to any Mountfield Village Hall Committee member.....

A good time also to remind people of the Children’s Christmas party, on the 15th December, 4pm - 6pm - and to request that they ensure they have registered their child’s names - as we will be catering quite specifically (food and presents) according to this list...

Wayne Hardy has sent the following results:It was A v B in the Push penny KO cup this week. The A team started well by winning the 1st game through Alan Crouch and Wayne Hardy, the B team hit back through Archie Pelling and Rose Pelling to level the game. This left the deciding game to be played, it was a close game but the A team prevailed through Steve Sutton and Ian Hardy to win the tie for the A team.

Mountfield Lunch Club dined out at Leeford Place on 5th November. Seven people enjoyed an excellent meal and were waited on by Rory once again. Next month they will have their Christmas meal on Monday 3rd December.
