Next Tuesday a meeting will take place in the village hall at 7.30 pm for all interested in assisting with the fete on 23rd June.

Those of you interested in cycling may like to join the 1066 Cycle Club Thursday evening rides. They set off from Battle Abbey Green at 6.30 pm throughout the spring and summer. Rides last for about an hour and there are two groups. The ‘cruisers’ go at a gentle pace with plenty of stops and time to walk up the hills. The ‘tourists’ go at a faster pace with fewer stops and cycle up the hills. An experienced rider accompanies each group and nobody gets left behind. New riders are welcome. You can go on two rides and then are asked to join the club ( £6 per annum. ) Just make sure your bike is in good working order before you set off!. For more details, please contact Sue 01424 775592.
