Mountfield’s afternoon of showers and flowers

This was held on 27th July and was well supported considering the cantankerous weather this spring and early summer, the quality of the entries in all sections was extremely high and we thank all exhibitors, the committee and other helpers, without whom the show could not take place. The afternoon was hit by one thundery squall but this did not deter anyone and many enjoyed the games and teas as well as looking at the exhibits. Mrs. K. Garland presented the cups.
