Hastings actor Louisa Faye has landed a role in the sequel movie Bandit Hound 11, playing opposite Lou Ferringo and Judd Nelson.

Louisa, 26, who moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a movie star at the end of last year, says she is delighted to have been offered the role. “I just got the go ahead that I will playing Lisa in the sequel movie Bandit Hound II,” she said. “I have now been officially cast and I’m over the moon!”

Louisa will play opposite Hollywood A listers Lou Ferrigno and Judd Nelson - best known for his bad boy roles The Breakfast Club abd St Elmo’s Fire - who have lead roles in The Bandit Hound which is due to be released around Christmas.

Since moving to LA Louisa’s career has taken off and she’s had a number of roles. Her striking looks and talent have caught the eye of Hollywood big wigs. “I have also just been cast as the lead actress in a television programme about covering the drama behind a musical and arts festival with a live audience,” she said. “There could be anything between 5,000 to 10,000 people! The Festival is called Dov Fest and is in it’s second year.

“I have also featured in a new web-series called Chronicles. It’s exciting times!”

Despite all the glitz and glamour of life in Southern California, Louise says she still has both feet firmly on the ground and misses her family, friends and her dad, who still lives in Hastings. “Finding work here has been pretty easy and I’ve had lots of interest. LA is a crazy city but I have a large group of friends and we all stick together. It’s looking to be a very exciting year ahead.”

Louisa is planning a trip back to Hastings next month and says she’s looking forward to seeing all those closest to her, have a roast dinner, and fish and chips at the Blue Dolphin. “To aid with the homesickness I’m coming back to the UK in October for a visit. I can’t wait for a good English cuppa tea and a walk in the old town with my Dad!”
