MP Maria Caulfield has called for urgent action following delays on the rail network this morning (Friday, December 4).
Mrs Caulfield has been in touch with Network Rail today following cancellation of train services in her constituency. Services from Seaford were being cancelled shortly after 8am owing to signal failure.
She said, “Here we are again. People are trying to get about their business – to work, to school or starting an early leisure journey and there are no trains.
“I have immediately emailed Network Rail asking when services are to return to normal. My constituents want a reliable railway. This is not it.”
