MP goes back to school in Bognor Regis

SCHOOLS minister Nick Gibb proved learning never stops when he joined teachers and pupils at a school in Bognor Regis.

Mr Gibb, the Conservative MP for Bognor Regis and Littlehampton, visited Nyewood C of E Junior School and was happy to be back in the classroom learning all about education there with ambassadors Zoe Lewis, 11, and Harry Daniels, ten.

He then had a tour of the school during which he chatted with children and teachers about subjects such as maths, geography and history.

He also spoke to Year 6 pupils Kane Palmer-Hill, Abbie Keet and Amy Bardin about their reading and love of books.

Headteacher Jon Williams said it was a pleasure to welcome Mr Gibb to the school in Brent Road.

“I am sure that Mr Gibb found his visit very worthwhile and we look forward to welcoming him back in the future. The children whom he met were a credit to our school.”
