Jeremy spent the morning touring the school, speaking to the children about their learning. They explained that they were dressed as heroes to raise money for Children in Need. One child said: “I am a nurse because nurses help people and it is Children in Need today.”

Jeremy also spent some time speaking to the staff and to the Headteacher, Miss Green. They discussed what is working well in education, such as collaboration with other schools in our locality to support, challenge and to share good practice, but also the challenges that we face on a day to basis, such as budget pressures and a turbulent period of assessment throughout our country.
