Mum’s pop-up shop is helping two charities

Dawn Ellman-Baker, a model who won a number of beauty competitions, including Miss Worthing, will be running Just 4 Girls for around six to eight weeks, or while stocks last.

She opened the doors in Brunswick Road last Tuesday, having stocked the shop with a glittering array of nearly-new clothes that no longer fit her two daughters.

Alongside the clothes, which are aged from newborn to five years old, there is a collection of ladies’ clothes, plus gifts, jewellery, accessories and second-hand books.

Dawn and her daughters, Chloe and Sienna, who are both students at The Towers Convent School in Upper Beeding, dressed in pink for the opening and decked the shop in pink balloons.

Dawn said: “Looking through all the girls’ clothes from newborn has certainly brought back memories.

“I can’t believe they fitted into some of the baby clothes. They are so tiny!”

All proceeds from the books will go to St Barnabas House hospice in Worthing.

Dawn, of Coombes Road, Lancing, is also selling miniature Moses baskets to support Tommy’s, a national charity which funds research into miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, and provides information for parent-to-be.

The shop is opposite Shoreham Post Office, south of Shoreham railway station.
