MURDER SQUAD HUNT GOES ON

Murder squad detectives report a second sighting of a woman they are looking for.

LAST night (Thursday, November 10), police received a report of another possible sighting of Nicola Edgington in Southend High Street around 5.30pm.

This follows the positive sighting of Nicola on Tuesday, November 8, near Southend East train station.

Detectives from Major Crime Branch who are investigating the murder of Marion Edgington at Forest Row on Saturday, November 5, are continuing their search for Nicola, who they wish to speak to about the incident.

A team of dedicated officers from Sussex Police is liaising with Essex Police in a bid to find Nicola.

Nicola is described as 25 years old, 5'3" tall, with long fair hair and of slim build. She is carrying a pink bag and may be wearing a brown cloth zip coat and scruffy blue jeans.

Anyone who has any information as to her whereabouts is asked to contact police on 0845 60 70 999 quoting Operation Clock.
