Music, comedy, drama and beer at Chiddingly Festival


The 36th Chiddingly Festival, from September 20 to October 5, offers visitors the chance to see a great line-up of acts, enjoy the annual Beer Festival and a variety of family events.

Award-winning comedian Susan Calman (The News Quiz, QI, Fresh Meat) will be performing her act “Lady Like” as part of her first UK tour.

There will also be drama in the form of “Spitfire Solo” and satire from sharp-tongued surrealist rebel poet and songwriter Attila the Stockbrocker.

The Festival is delighted to welcome Lisa Knapp and her folk band, the Asaf Sirkis Quartet will be performing jazz, Americana group The Curst Sons will be playing folk and blues and classical music lovers will enjoy the Elysian Singers.

There’s a film-making workshop, an art and craft exhibition, children’s craft workshops, Morris dancers, a Mummers play and the Festival Fiesta with live music and dancing and much more.
