A charity bash at The Engineer in Newhaven held on Saturday (August 10) raised about £3,500.
Around 600 people attended the pub in Railway Road throughout the day, which featured local bands Badger Attack, V.O.X, Kangaroo Juice, The Firm and Jelly Head.
The day was held from 2pm to 10pm and included a hog roast, stalls coconut shy, face painting and cake stalls.
Natalie Daniels, from the pub, said: “It was a huge success. It don’t think it could have gone better.
“I don’t think one person left without a smile on their face.”
County councillor Peter Charlton volunteered to go in the stocks and visitors were able to throw wet sponges at him. Money raised went to Help for Heroes.
