Music retailer returns to Brighton

hmv is to return to Brighton, after closing its store in Churchill Square earlier this year.

The music retailer announced it will return to the shopping centre, taking up part of the former BHS store.

Neil Taylor, HMV Retail Limited operations director, said: "We are delighted to be opening a brand new hmv store back in Churchill Square, Brighton which will open later this month.

"We are extremely proud of our heritage and our dedicated staff, who, like our customers, share a passion for the best music and film, tech, t-shirts, gifts and collectables. It's great to announce that hmv are back in Brighton, we look forward to opening our doors very soon."

With the previous hmv Brighton store closing in January 2017, the store opens with a new team led by Cat Wallis as store manager.
