The Heathfield Partnership was runner up in the Tomorrow’s People annual Awards for Achievement in October 2012 in the Community Partner of the Year category.
The awards recognise the adults and young people who have leapt the highest hurdles to find work and the outstanding funders, local and national employers and individuals who support their work across the country.
The Heathfield Partnership was runner up for its Heathfield Works! project.
Tomorrow’s People said: “The Heathfield Partnership Trust worked tirelessly with us to create a unique venture, Heathfield Works!
“The programme supports jobless young people in a rural market town, where there is no employment support and poor transport. The programme has a 100 per cent success rate with its first four groups.”
The winner was Merseyside Probation Achieve Team, helping ex-offenders into work.
Tomorrow’s People is an employment charity aiming to help disadvantaged people get and keep a job.
