“However, it doesn’t tell the whole story, I have a very able and dedicated team behind me who do a fantastic job and are committed to the work that Action for Children carries out, helping those young people who need us most.”

The charity said Jacqui was rewarded for her passion and commitment she has shown in the six years she has spent with Action for Children’s fostering and adoption service.

A national panel was tasked with selecting Jacqui and other winners.

Christina Brandi, children’s placements manager at Action for Children, said: “Jacqui is a truly worthy winner of this award.

“Through her dedication and hard work in our marketing team, she has made a unique difference to so many vulnerable children and young people.”
