Nativity lights up Town Hall
RYE’S painted nativity tableau has been winning admiring comments again this year.
The nativity, which is situated in the Buttermarket below the Town Hall, is the work of the late John Ryan who was the creator of iconic children’s favourite Captain Pugwash.
The work has undergone a restoration in recent years
and is widely admired by visitors to the town over the Christmas period.
