Netherfield Church: Services for November start with Morning Worship at 10 am this Sunday November 2 at Netherfield. The following week, Sunday November 9 is Remembrance Sunday and each parish will have their own service, Netherfield starts at 10.50 am. Sunday November 16 will be a Holy Communion at Mountfield at 10 am and Sunday November 30th will be an Advent carol Service at Mountfield starting at 5 pm. Hatha Yoga Classes: at Netherfield Village Hall, have started on Monday evenings, 6pm – 7.15pm for Intermediate and 7.30pm – 8.45pm for Beginners, £5 per class. Please bring a cushion and blanket, spaces are limited so please contact Carleen to reserve your place 07592 081432 or [email protected]

White Hart: On the third Thursday of every month we hold a Quiz night for a local charity all are welcome , there is always a ‘special’ on offer for food. There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boulez, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. Battle Hard of Hearing Support Group: The next meeting will be held on Monday Nov 3 2014, from 2pm to 3:30pm at St Martins (ground floor lounge), Mount Street, Battle, TN33 0DR. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other hard of hearing people and to make new friends in a relaxed and welcoming environment and to learn from their personal experience of living with hearing loss. It’s also an ideal opportunity to learn some useful communication skills that will help to reduce the feeling of isolation. Free refreshments and raffle. All welcome so put a note in your diary. East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre: is a registered charity working in partnership with Adult Social Care to provide a no charge mobile information and advice service for Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people living in East Sussex. The vehicle, which is funded by the Big Lottery, is equipped to offer demonstrations of assistive equipment and hearing screening tests (if time permits). The mobile unit will be visiting Battle on Thursday November 6 2014, and will be in Market Square from 10.30am – 3.30pm. The bus is accessible to wheelchair users and representatives from both the East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre and Adult Social Care will be available to provide individual information and advice on all aspects of hearing loss.
