Rounders Tournament: all villages from Rother are invited to enter a team in this fun event to held at Netherfield Village Hall on Saturday August 30 from 10am to 4 pm, 50p per person.

Table Top Sale: this will be held in September, date to be arranged, and is open to anyone and hopefully there will be tables selling a wide range including poultry, produce, bric-a-brac please call into shop or call 01424 838106 for more information.

Netherfield Church: Services for Brightling, Mountfield and Netherfield continue through August with this Sunday August 17 Holy Communion at Mountfield; Sunday August 24 Holy Communion at Netherfield and Sunday August 31 will be Songs of Praise at Brightling starting at 6 pm and followed by drinks in the churchyard. Any requests for readings and hymns for this service may be made to Ann-Marie. All services start at 10 am with the exception of August 31. Paul Smith.

White Hart: On the third Thursday of every month we hold a Quiz night for a local charity all are welcome , there is always a ‘special’ on offer for food. There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boulez, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382.
