Netherfield

Maria Standen, Swallow Farm

Netherfield Church - The service this Sunday will be a Holy Communion at Mountfield. The services will then follow the regular pattern of the fourth Sunday being a Holy Communion at Netherfield with the fifth Sunday being a special Mothering Sunday service also at Netherfield. All services start at 10 am and you are most welcome to join us. Remember, our Spring Fair this year is on Saturday March 29, which is the day before Mothering Sunday so no surprise that this will be our focus. There will be the usual stalls as well with refreshments available throughout. It will be in the church from 10 am until noon so come along and see what is on offer.

Before this though is the Annual Parochial Church Meeting on Wednesday March 26 starting at 7 pm in the church. This is for the election of officers, the Church Council, a review of the past year and forward planning. It is also the time the Electoral Role is reviewed and anyone interested in being added to it should contact me before the Annual Meeting. Being on the Role entitles you to a have a voice, input and an awareness of the running of your local church. Paul Smith, Churchwarden.
