Netherfield Church – The first service in June, Sunday June 2 will be a Family Service at Netherfield. The rest of the month is as follows: Sunday June 9 will be Holy Communion at Brightling, Sunday June 16 Holy Communion at Mountfield, Sunday June 23 will be a Holy Communion at Netherfield and this is also the Patronal Festival so something extra is likely and will be announced shortly. The final service on Sunday June 30 will be at Brightling, is likely to be in the evening and more details will also be announced shortly. With the exception of this service all others will start at 10am.

We have another social event this month – a coffee morning being hosted by the Parkinson’s at Stoneywood, Netherfield Road, Netherfield. This is on Saturday June 8 from 10am until 12noon and will have all the usual attractions, some stalls, a raffle and the obvious coffee and something to nibble. It will be brilliant if summer has arrived by then as the magnificent views to the coast are something to be enjoyed and there is nothing better than to relax in the beautiful garden, take in the view and chat to locals. White Hart - On Thursday June 20 there will be a Quiz Night in aid of Netherfield Parish Church the cost is £2.50 per person up to a maximum of 6 players per team. Please come along and help raise money for a worthy cause. Food is served from 6pm and the special is sausage, chips and peas or scampi and chips for only £6.

There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boules, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, TR Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. White Hart Boules Pitch. The pieste is free to use, any clubs please feel free to come and use the pieste, FOC any time except match days which are Saturday afternoons throughout the season. The mobile library will be outside the shop from 11.50am – 12.10pm on Fridays June 7 and 21.

Deaf or hard of hearing? Living in Battle? Why not come along to one of the Hard of Hearing Groups held in Hastings and Battle and take the opportunity to meet other people in an easy-to-communicate atmosphere?
