DDARA Youth Activity Wednesday February 20, 11am to 3pm at the village hall, light lunch provided, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Netherfield Church –This week, Sunday February 17, will be a Holy Communion at Mountfield for all three parishes, and the last Sunday February 24, will be a Holy Communion at Netherfield. Services are at 10 am. Paul Smith, Churchwarden.

WHITE HART - On Thursday February 21 we are holding the Annual St Michaels Hospice Quiz the charge is £2.50 per person up to a maximum of 6 players per team, please come along and help raise money for a worthy cause.

On Monday Jan 7 the White Hart ladies darts team played Best Beech. This was in a knockout format based on a home and away match. In the first leg the White Hart have a narrow lead of 6-5 the return leg is later this month. On Monday Jan 14 the ladies played The Red Lion and lost 7-4 with their 4 wins coming from Marie in the singles, Coral/Lou and Marie/Jane in the doubles and in the trebles Mandy/Coral/Debbie. On Thursday White Hart B played Staplecross club the darts won 4-3 with wins for Bob Lovick, Marie Colvin, Mandy Saunters, Lou Saunters. However they lost the ladies doubles 2-0 and lost the men’s doubles 2-0 but they managed to win the mixed pairs 2-0, in the push penny the team lost 3-2 with the wins coming from Rick Warner and Bob Lovick. On Monday Feb 4 the ladies darts played away at The Wheel. The ladies came away winners with an 8-3 victory the team was Lou & Mandy Saunters, Coral Giles, Jane Beeden, Sarah Hunter, Marie Colvin. On Thursday Feb 7 White Hart B played Senlac where they lost the darts 5-2, with their wins coming from Sarah Hunter, Rick Warner. In the ladies pairs Mandy Saunters and Sarah H won 2-0, in the men’s pairs Rick W and Bob Lovick won and in the mixed pairs Rick W and Nicola W won, in the push penny league the team lost 5-0.

There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boules, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382.
