WHITE HART On Saturday November 24 there is an Irish Night with live music starting at 9pm. There will be a raffle with proceeds going towards a local charity, All Welcome see website for more details. Thursday December 20 we are holding our monthly Quiz night which will have a Christmas theme, starting at 7.30pm and finishing at approximately 10pm, all proceeds raised go to Netherfield Church. Food is available from 5.30pm till 7.15pm, we offer, as a special deal, Scampi or Fish & chips at only £5.00. It would be great to see some locals attending and helping to raise money for their local church. To reserve a table call us 01424-838382. On Monday November 12 the ladies darts team played Ticehurst Club and won 7-4. In the singles there were wins for Marie Colvin, Coral Giles, Jane Beeden, in the doubles wins for Jane/Debbie, Mandy/Lou and in the trebles Mandy/Jane/Debbie and Coral/Marie/Lou. There were top scores for Mandy 125, Jane 126, Marie 125, and Debbie 121. On Thursday the B side were the only ones with a match, they played Staplecross club and won the darts 4-3 with wins for Lou Saunters, Rick Warne, Marie Colvin, Sarah Hunter, in the men’s doubles the team won 2-1 and in the mixed pairs they won 2-1 but in the ladies doubles they lost, finally in the push penny they lost 4-1 with Rick the only winner. There were some top scores in the darts Rick hit 5 x 100 and Lyn who played her first darts match hit 108 well done!

Netherfield Church - Last week another quiz night was hosted by the White Hart. Seven teams took part and enjoyed the evening of brain searching questions set, as always, by Sean. Congratulations to the winning team of Simon and Emma Kersey and Jon and Mel Avery. A huge thank you to Sean for once again donating the proceeds to our church and to all those who supported the evening.

The service this Sunday November 25 will be a joint Holy Communion for Mountfield and Netherfield at Netherfield commencing at the usual time of 10 am. Paul Smith, Churchwarden.

WHITE HART - There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boules, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. The pieste is free to use, any clubs please feel free to come and use the pieste, FOC any time except match days which are Saturday afternoons throughout the season.  We have a group of ladies and Gents that play amongst themselves Monday Lunchtimes.
