Netherfield village voice

Sunday March 11 is our United Benefice service, that is Brightling, Mountfield and Netherfield all coming together, this month at Netherfield for Holy Communion. On Sunday March 18 is a joint service of Holy Communion at Mountfield and the final service on Sunday March 25 is another joint Holy Communion but at Netherfield. All services are at 10am and will be advertised here and on church notice boards. Paul Smith Church Warden.

Netherfield Stores – The church sign has now been erected, it has taken quite a long time for the paperwork, planning etc to be accepted. This sign and notice board has been funded by the Netherfield 10-mile horse ride which takes place in the village every year with the kind permission of Beech Estate and Ivyland Farm. I would like to thank Mick Scott of Traditional Country Ways for making and donating the oak posts for the sign, next on the list is a circular seat for Simon Bishops memorial tree planted by the bus stop, hopefully, the ride this year will be able to fund this.

White Hart – There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boules, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382.
