Festival director Mella Faye Punchard will give an overview of this year’s festival at the Ropetackle Arts Centre in Shoreham on Wednesday at 6pm.
Then, a panel of expert event organisers will talk about their experiences of event organising, the highlights and the obstacles.
Among them will be Christine Howitt from Adur Art Trail, Shoreham Fort chairman Gary Baines talking about the popular Military History Weekend and Andrea Ballance from the Adur Sea of Lights Parade in Lancing.
Mella said: “There will be an opportunity to ask questions and gain a useful insight into what it takes to organise a successful event for the festival.
“This is the first of four festival meetings. The following three meetings will take a deeper look at aspects of event, organising from funding to marketing.”
Participants can now register their event online at www.adurfestival.co.uk, anytime up to March 6.
Adur Festival 2015 will run from May 30 to June 14 and this year’s theme is Food of Love.
It will be 16 days of non-stop art and culture, with community events across Adur and a district wide street party on June 13, with professional street theatre performances from across the globe.
