RIVERSIDE CLUB: The club reopens at Cliffe Church Hall next Friday January 20, when we will be renewing membership for the usual fee of £10 for the year. We hope to see our regulars back and if you wonder what you have been missing and wish to become a member, please come along and join. As well as the yearly membership fee, it will cost you £2 each week for a varied entertainment programme and afternoon tea/coffee and biscuits. Our first brilliant speaker is Ray Hale with an interesting talk on Gideon Mantell MRCS FRS who was an English obstetrician, geologist and palaeontologist, born in Lewes.
