CHRIST CHURCH: On Wednesday our Adventure Cruise Holiday starts at 10am until 12.30pm for those children in reception up to Year 6. At the time of writing we still have a few spaces left so please email [email protected] if you wish to register your children in our holiday club. With this in mind, worship on Sunday at 10.30am will be led by Rev John Gordon and he will be introducing the theme for the holiday club and we will be inviting all those registered in the club to the service. Today is our last meeting of Christ Church Tots until September 16, so it will be time to say goodbye to some our older children who will be starting school in September.

WALLANDS SCHOOL: Wallands participated in the annual Lewes and Ringmer District Sports Athletics event held at the Lewes track. We had a 52 strong team and won 51 medals out of a possible 78; 28 gold, 15 silver and eight bronze events and any child who participated in a final, gathered points towards our overall total wherever they finished. This helped us to yet again win the large schools category for the eleventh year running, what an achievement. Well done to all involved.

POND LIFE: We are having a lot of trouble with our pond leaking this year and are looking for a new home for our seven fish. If you are interested in some or all of them or know someone else who might be and have a fair sized healthy pond, please get in touch with me.
