New adventure playground opened
MAYOR Alan Roberts visited Westfield School last week to officially open the school’s adventure playground.
The play area and apparatus were paid for in part by the fundraising efforts of the Friends of Westfield School PTA and the children were able to input their design ideas for the playground before the final plans were drawn up.
Cllr Roberts and Mayoress Helen Pescott also had a tour of the school.
