New bridge at Shoreham Harbour will open up routes for walkers and cyclists

A MULTI-MILLION pound project to provide a quick and convenient cossing for walkers and cyclists at Shoreham harbour to reach a new network of paths took a step closer on Friday.

Councillors from West Sussex and Adur District councils, along with local cyclists joined sustainable transport charity Sustrans at a special ceremony on site.

Paperwork was signed that will guide development of the new scheme

which will open up a network of routes in the area by replacing the Shoreham Harbour footbridge with a wider bridge.
