The home has been owned and operated by Mr and Mrs Wootton since 2002, offering residential and nursing care.

In 2004 the home was extended to offer 44 beds.

Owner Richard Wootton said: “The team at Fairlight strive to deliver high standards consistently in a fun, caring and loving environment. This has proven a popular combination as the home runs with a high level of occupancy. It was because of this that we decided to develop part of the gardens and add an additional 28 beds in a separate building with works completed at the beginning of this year.”

The two buildings at the home share newly-landscaped gardens with easy access for wheelchair users through the two courtyards.

All the bedrooms have a view over the newly- planted gardens or the allotments next door.
