New buses and new routes provided by Compass Travel

From this week, Compass Travel has a number of additional routes as well as seven new buses.

Contracts awarded by county councils in East and West Sussex include services to villages and towns in and around Mid Sussex.

Additional routes include:

121 Lewes to Chailey and Newick

166 Lewes to Plumpton and Haywards Heath

824 Lewes to Ditchling and Burgess Hill

The new contracts started on Monday, this week.

The additional routes were awarded to Compass Travel after short-term arrangements were put in place following the demise of another bus company, Countryliner.

In a piece of good news for the jobs market, Compass Travel’s fleet of new buses are all British built.
