New cinema is on its way
A contract has been signed which confirms the opening of a new two-screen Kino cinema in Rye.
The milestone should guarantee cinema for Rye for the next 25 years.
The Fletcher Group confirmed the signing, which secures a cinema at the former Adult Education and library site at Lion Street, which it partly owns.
It is a new era for Rye, which hasn’t had a proper cinema for more than 40 years when the Regent in Cinque Ports Streets closed its doors.
