New energy help service cuts bills

The district councils are running free home energy advice visits in partnership with the NHS.

They are aimed at helping residents get the best deal on their energy through a visit from a qualified home energy expert.

In some cases, the expert may be able to install free energy and water saving devices.

It’s all part of the new Arun and Chichester Wellbeing at Home service.

Arun’s cabinet member for community development, Cllr Paul Wotherspoon, said the rising cost of energy made it important residents did all they could to become energy efficient.
