The foodbanks work by providing a three-day food supply to see a person through a ‘crisis period’.

Foodbank manager Julie Denyer said: “The foodbank is like a neighbour helping a neighbour, like it used to be years ago. The amount of people fed last year was 2,063. More and more people are in crisis and we are seeing people from all walks of life.”
