New food fayre at Hurst Green

Merriments Gardens at Hurst Green will be showcasing tasty local produce when it hosts a Spring Food Fayre on Saturday April 25.

Visitors will be able to taste and buy delicious home-made and home-grown seasonal produce from some of the best local food and drink producers.

Merriments Restaurant Manager, Annie Oliver-Wanstall, said: “The Spring Food fair will give people the chance to buy delicious food and drink that is made on a small scale and therefore not widely available. These are passionate producers who really pour love into their food.”

between 10.30am and 4pm and will be a free event. Visitors can also enjoy Merriments nursery, garden, shop and restaurant.

Merriments is currently holding a Spring Flowers Spectacular which runs until Sunday May 10. Visitors to the Food Fair can enjoy half price entry to the garden.
