New gardens to feature in fundraising village event

Partridge Green Open Gardens, now in its fifth year, is going from strength to strength and we have more gardens than ever before.

Set to take place this weekend, June 18-19, between 11am-5pm, the gardens will be free to enter but each one will be raising money for charity.

Over £7,000 has been raised over the past four years. Many venues will be providing teas and refreshments and some will be selling plants and crafts.

As well as featuring eight new gardens, The Partridge Green Open Gardens Scarecrow Trail is back by popular demand.

Have fun looking for the scarecrows as you walk round the village from garden to garden.

Maps and information will be available on the weekend at sponsors Bluebells Day Nursery RH13 8JE (next to Jolesfield School).
