New health service treats first patient in Seaford

A new partnership commissioned by the NHS to provide musculoskeletal services in East Sussex has treated its first patient at Horder Healthcare, Seaford.

Maureen George said: “My appointment was arranged quickly to suit me and I received excellent care.”

The service delivered by the Sussex MSK Partnership aims to transform care for patients suffering with joint, muscle and bone conditions.

Cathy Kwan, from Sussex MSK Partnership East, said: “We were delighted to hold our first hip clinic at Horder Healthcare Seaford. Sussex MSK Partnership brings together four established health organisations with shared values who can offer the very best musculoskeletal services from diagnosis to treatment that will benefit patients by streamlining care services alongside excellent care that is closer to home.”
