Natalie Round, Horsham manager, is excited to be moving Horsham MNC group to Bill’s Restaurant as of this month with the first meeting being held on Wednesday June 8 from 10am – 11.30am in the upstairs room.

Natalie who is a successful, local business woman was initially involved with the club by being a member and attending their events.

She said: “As a member I felt really inspired by the ethos of the club and realised that I could use my experience to help other business mums move their businesses forward.”

This informal, friendly networking group that started in East Sussex now has 17 venues and a huge social media presence. The club, founded by Nicky Chisholm and Sara Guiel in Sussex in 2009, has helped and inspired almost a thousand business mums in its first year.

“As working mums we found it impossible to network at traditional meetings as these are at the most busy times in any family house so we decided to start our own at a time that suits busy Mumpreneurs,” says Nicky.

The Mumpreneurs Networking Club meets once a month at each venue and welcomes Mumpreneurs and those that want to reach them.

Sara says: “We are not an exclusive network. Many professions find strength in meeting and sharing with others from the same disciplines. We also welcome those who would like to reach business mums, we have had a few brave men through our doors and some of our members are not Mums but find the friendly, inspiring, camaraderie empowers them to go forward with their businesses.”

MNC are always trying to find new ways to enrich the member’s experiences and help to promote them and their businesses. We have just finished an amazing tour of Guildford, Kingston, Brighton and Portsmouth on the NatWest Bus supported by StartUp Britain.

MNC invited aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs along to the bus to talk to professionals within their network about local support helping to inspire, share practical skills and help drive their businesses forward.

“I’m really looking forward to growing the Horsham MNC group, creating an inspirational and ‘go to’ environment,” adds Natalie. “I know how hard and challenging it can be when deciding to go it alone and step away from the corporate world or when making a life style change. Many of our members have been in this position and now have flourishing business.
