New Northiam slide in memory of Mary Shipstone

A new slide in memory of murdered seven-year-old Mary Shipstone was opened by her mother in Northiam on Saturday (May 7).

The opening had been delayed for a few weeks as the parish council needed to install a safety surface, but the slide was quickly enjoyed by children eager to use it.
