New priorities decided

NEW priorities were set at a recent Neighbourhood Panel meeting in Storrington.

At the end of last month Police Community Support Officer (PSCO) for Storrington, Sullington and Amberley Carol Boniface met with ten members to set the new priorities for the area.

These included the need for a skate ramp or bike jump facility ideally in the grounds of the leisure centre, concerns over people fishing at Sandgate Lake without a proper fishing licence, and litter in the same area.

PSCO Boniface said she would talk to the parish council about the skate facility, adding that she had already spoken to young people in the village who welcomed the proposal.

She added she would also contact Horsham District Council in relation to the licences and would patrol the area with regards to the litter. The next panel meeting is on Thursday January 26 at The White Horse Hotel, The Square, Storrington at 7pm.
