The Dunelm website is advertising for jobs stating the location as Chichester.
The Observer has approached Dunelm for confirmation.
Dan Gick, director of Chichester based start-up Scrap Car Comparison said a new homeware store would be great for Chichester, but there could be added problems.

“But on the downside this is only going to add to the problems for the independents within the city walls as more and more big retail outlets come into the area taking away their business.
“And the retail park and that of Sainsbury’s opposite is already a headache with traffic at the best of times - and this is only going to get worse. There is not a big enough slip road into the retail park which already looks at full capacity at peak times”
