New surgery opening

It's an exciting and busy time for staff at the new medical centre in Green Lane Close, as they move in tomorrow ready to welcome patients.

"The doctors and staff are looking forward to moving into the new surgery. We will now be able to provide care for members of our community both in and around Arundel in first class surroundings," said Arundel Surgery practice manager Julie Palmer.

Residents from the surgery's catchment area have been invited to an informal viewing of the new facilities before the staff move in and patients are being asked for their help and co-operation over what will inevitably be a busy period for everyone at the surgery.

Prescriptions will need to be ordered before this Tuesday and after Thursday, May 8, to allow time for the computer to be moved and rewired in the new premises.

The surgery will run an emergency service during the move and patients can expect to be seen either at the old or new surgery premises.
