Directed By Nick Parnell this play is based on an 1890’s story by Oscar Wilde about Lord Arthur Savile, who is engaged to the lovely Sybil Merton. Sybil’s mother, the formidable Lady Julia Merton, who rather disapproves of her future son-in-law, asks the famous cheiromantist, Mr Podgers, to read his palm to discover any skeletons in his cupboard. Warned by Podgers that he will commit a murder, Lord Arthur feels duty bound to get the murder over with before his marriage. Despite help from his butler and a cheerful anarchist, Winkelkopf, attempt after attempt fails…..
