“It all kicks off on Friday at 4pm, when we see the return of the Beach Dreams Family Disco, a full afternoon and evening of fun and games with local DJs for you all to get up and have a dance to.

“On Saturday, there will be the legendary School’s Parade, with children from the local community showing off some of the amazing creations they have made for the festival.”

There are two strands which will parade to the main festival base on Beach Green, one of them starting at Shoreham Beach Primary School, in Shingle Road, at 11am and another from Pebbles Pre-School at Church of the Good Shepherd, in Kings Walk, at 11.15am.

Mrs Parker added: “Then, from 12pm on Saturday, we are proud to kick start two days of the finest, local, new music Beach Dreams has ever seen.

“After receiving an overwhelming number of applications, we have secured a full weekend of fantastic live bands and DJs.

“Plus, we are excited to announce The Piranhas, equipped with smash hit Tom Hark, will be taking to the Beach Dreams stage, alongside the return of fan favourites Eel Fish Parsley and many more.

“As if all that wasn’t enough, the Shoreham Allstars will be rocking all weekend with the addition of their very own stage. The Allstars bus opens its doors to show off the best emerging talent Shoreham has to offer.

“We cannot wait to share what is set to be one of the best Beach Dreams yet and it’s completely free.”
