Ninfield

Note to Self!: Next time; Think.. but don't actually Voice, the comments, '˜hasn't the weather been lovely.. warm and dry for such a long time...can't remember when it last rained...' As the saying goes..be careful what you (inadvertently!) wish for.. I mean really...! That Friday, last week, we must have had a month's worth of rain in half a day! The hard ground really couldn't cope, and the flash flooding was incredible...roads became rivers, and, several times, I had to steel myself while driving '˜Snowflake', Esteemed Mama's car; especially in the long lanes between Catsfield, Crowhurst and Queensway. I tell you, a James Bond-esque aqua-transformation would really have been a comfort! As it was, little car bravely crept through the sudden, new lakes over the road and... didn't even cough on the other side! Brilliant! But.. After the weekend drying out, it then became noticeably chilly... on Sunday evening, a heart warming fire was lit in the lounge; time to relax - and Countryfile sprang on to the telly-box.. Ah! Good! The weather for the week ahead..? It's always reliable, the Countryfile forecast...Now.. er, What?... Snow coming down from the North East on biting winds...And the long range prediction...?..Batten down the hatches, chaps, it's going to be a long '˜Siberian' winter...! Ok: Here we go!..

And Finally!: B.K- Episode 2! After the Tree escapade (three rehearsals and she’s done tall fir trees!) I can now announce that this gorgeous little black and white furry monster has decided she is a ‘Kippy’ - Why?.. well, I was giving the Canine Crew a small treat of some crumbs of leftover ham, with them all (7) in a semi-circle, and two sitting upright with front paws raised... I handed round to the group one by one, said ‘Good Boy/Girl’ to each and realised that Girl number 5, smaller, but sitting up with paws raised like her friend next door...was Bramble-Kat.. They are Her Canine Crew, She is their Kitten Cousin... Bless! Keep in touch! 893699, 07970650321, [email protected], Tweet @guard_jane Thank you!
