Ninfield

Aha! We're now into '˜Flaming June'...!: Apparently, there was a rumour going around locally that the forecasters were promising the hottest June for over a hundred years...ok, let's hope there's at least an element of accuracy in that, especially after Bank Holiday Monday's clouds and wind, and yes, alright I know, it could have been a lot worse! But it seems to be the same every time; fabulous sunny days, over the days BEFORE the holiday, and then drear and dreich on the day itself! Now is the time to really practice your best '˜Sun Dance', as this week sees the build up to the Queen's official Birthday Celebrations next weekend. The complete table of fun-filled events for Ninfield is listed at the end of this column, please make a note in your diaries and see what takes your fancy!...so, on that note let's first....
