Ninfield

Ninfield Bowls Club are making a slow start to their season, but I am assured they WILL get better!: Tuesday May 13 they played Alexanda Park and lost 76-47. Playing Bexhill on May 14, they achieved a score of 68, as apposed to Bexhill’s 98. They faired slightly better on May 17 against Cross-in-Hand, with a score 63-76 to Cross-in-Hand. The Club enjoyed a fun day of men vs ladies on May 18 however, the men where one short and recruited an honorary man from the women. The men won (many believe due to their new recruit). The afternoons fun was finished off with a fish and chip supper.

Members and guests of the Ninfield Local History Group were entertained by group member David Swales at their meeting on Thursday, May 15. He showed a great selection of photos from the group archives and brought along a selection of old farm tools including a Bill Hook, an old milk churn and a pitch fork!
